David William Corbin, born on June 12, 1950, to the late Ernest William Corbin and Faustena Elizabeth Smith, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born here and was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga.
David graduated from City High School and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He worked in the retail sales department of JC Penney for many years. David attended Highland Park Baptist Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his cousins, Annette Price and her son, Jeff (Kathryn) Price, and Tena Robinson and her daughter, Michelle (Ronnie) Bull, along with several more cousins and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held on January 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-East Chapel and a Celebration of David's Life will follow at the same location, beginning at 2:00 pm. He will be privately laid to rest in the Forest Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's memory can be made to the McKamey Animal Shelter, 4500 N Access Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
