David graduated from City High School and he attended the University of Tennessee. David was an avid “Volunteers” fan. One of David’s favorite hobbies was photography. David worked for and retired from Vincent Printing Company where he was a graphics designer. He was always taking pictures at family events and vacations. David enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially camping. He loved going to the beach, particularly in Florida.
David was preceded in death by his parents Julius and Aileen Hope.
Left behind to cherish David’s memory are his sister and brother in law Patsy and Randy Martin, nieces and nephews Jeff Martin, Stacey Ladd (Robb), Melissa Brooks (Tim), great-nieces and nephews Bailey Ladd, Tripp Ladd, and Emma Ladd, Tim Brooks III and Tara Brooks, Gibbs Brooks, great-great nephew Lawson Ladd, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday August 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 1:00 pm.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for the compassionate care that was given to David.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in David’s memory to St. Elmo United Methodist Church where David was a life-long member.
