David Lee Tinnon

David Lee Tinnon, 84, of Apison, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. He was a member of Grace Works Church in Chattanooga. David graduated from Central High School where he was football manager, a basketball player and Boxer and in later years was an avid bowler.

He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and the Realtors Institute of Tennessee (GRI).

David was owner and broker of Scenic City Realtors and as a Realtor, received many awards including recognition by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission for outstanding contributions to the real estate industry. He held Realtor Emeritus status in the National Association of Realtors and a legacy as a Realtor mentor.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and received recognition of service from the Navy Recruiting Director.

David was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Tinnon; mother, Thelma Tinnon; wife, Charlotte Marie Tinnon and a brother, Tommy Tinnon.

Survivors include his brother, Charles Tinnon and two step-daughters, Allison Shoemaker of Chattanooga and Audra Green of Collierville, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 6, 2023 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.
