She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Edens; parents Deo and Della Kimsey; sisters, Bertie Benton, Betty Jo Blaylock and brother, Jack Kimsey.
She is survived by daughter Tina McIntyre and son Bob Edens; granddaughter Kelley Galbreath (Joe) and grandson Patrick McIntyre; great grandchildren Willis, June, and Henry Galbreath and many dear relatives and friends.
She was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was known as a skilled and creative baker and seamstress and found joy in giving to others.
A Celebration of Jewell’s Life will be held graveside in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Tuesday March 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm. with the Rev. Clair Sauer officiating.
