She was born in Colorado Springs, CO to the late G. W. and Augusta Correll. She lived with her family in West Palm Beach, FL before the family moved to the Ooltewah area. She was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church and had worked as a Sales Representative for Scholastic Magazine.
Surviving are her son, Ron (Susan) Bedford of Kingsport, TN; daughter, Ivy (Gary) Aslinger of Ft. Oglethorpe; and grandsons, Steven Bedford of Kingsport, TN and James (Ashton) Fields of Trenton, GA.
She was preceded in death by four siblings.
Services will be private.
