Mrs. Cobleigh was a native of Chattanooga where she was raised by her parents, Roscoe and Ida May Talley. She was a lifelong member of Highland Baptist Church and a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being a potter, weaver and was an adamant gardner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Cobleigh, retired USAR Colonel and retired vice-president of Miller Brothers; brother Dudley Talley; and sisters-in-law, Lucille and Bernice Talley.
Survivors include her three sons and their wives, N. Ed and Heidi Cobleigh, Richard L. and Lois Cobleigh, and David and Jamie Cobleigh; granddaughters, Caroline (Roland) Cobleigh Berndt, Lisa (Jason) Cobleigh Fisher, Courtney (Rick) Cobleigh Davison, and Heather (Josh) Cobleigh Tullock; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ed Talley.
Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, February 26, 2010 prior to the Funeral Service at 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made be made to the Highland Park Baptist Church.
