She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and was retired from Buster Brown. She fought a good fight to the end.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Q. Kennedy; parents, Willis and Eula Bell Franklin Duckett; brothers Willis Duckett, Jr. and Ed Duckett; two sons, Albert C. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy; two grandsons.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Kennedy Brock; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Jeff Howell officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Woodall, Jeff Hewitt, Brian Lewis and Paul Rouse.
