She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Reed and Eula Brumlow; and two brothers, Fred and Buddy Reed.
She is survived by her husband, Fred E. Matthews; daughter, Pamela Hicks; two sons, Edward and Leon Matthews; three Grandchildren; four Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the funeral home with Dr. Ronnie Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
