She was born on September 16, 1932, to the late Luther and Allyne Wilson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Webster; and one sister, Lois Wharey.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Betty (Ray) Hickerson, Kay (Jamie) Crownover, and Luther (Connie) Webster; her 8 grandchildren; her 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Katherine (James) Denny of Huntsville, Alabama, and Jane Kneis of Asheville, North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a housewife and homemaker. She was of Baptist faith. Dorothy was a member of the deaf community of Chattanooga and graduated from the Tennessee School for the Deaf.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South in Rossville, GA.
