She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Thomas; great-grandson, Bobby Charles Bowling, Jr.; and grandson-in-law, Kelly David Taylor.
She is survived by two sons, Bob (Wanda) Bowling and Bill (Kay) Bowling; siblings, Rose Harvey and Sam (Ann) Vandergriff; grandchildren, Suzie Bowling, Tonia Taylor, Bobby (Jo) Bowling and Debbie Baird; great-grandchild, Ashley (Bryan) Tate; four great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Diane Bean and Judy Harrell.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. John Andrus officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
