Ed was an army veteran and a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. Following his retirement from Dupont in 1985 he was employed by ABB and Alstom Power. Ed was a wonderful husband, father, and friend who can never be replaced and will be remembered lovingly.
Survivors include wife, Carol Pierce Harris; daughters Kimberly Annette Hawkins and Emily Keen (Lavon) Pickle; grandsons Spencer Hawkins and Alex Drouillard; siblings Eugene (Gene) Harris, Emily Walston, Elsie Kinley, Marjory Cronon, and Elizabeth Hinton; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, November 18, 2012 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
