Elizabeth Ann Hensley Driver, 88, of East Ridge, passed away December 29 in a local hospital. Elizabeth Ann was a native of Clarksville, Tennessee and attended Southwestern at Memphis. She came home to Clarksville during World War II and worked for the Red Cross until the war was over. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Kappa Delta sorority, PEG, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Hugenot Society of TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Hensley and Edna Mae Wolf Hensley, and her husband, Charles E. Driver, Jr.
Elizabeth Ann is survived by her sons John L. Driver and Delores of Cleveland, TN. and Dr. Charles A. Driver and Diane of St. Cloud, Minnesota. Two grandsons, John D. Driver of College Grove, TN and Jeremy L. Driver of Athens, TN, and two great granddaughters.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 3 conducted by the Reverend Bill Mills of Trinity Presbyterian Church. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
