Elouise Colleen Grimes, 97, of East Ridge went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 19, 2025. She was a member and matriarch of Spring Creek Church of God. Elouise was known as “Mom” to many and loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bud” Grimes.
Survivors include her son, Donnie (Nancy) Grimes of Pensacola, FL; Rhonda (Buddy) Broome of East Ridge, TN; five grandchildren, Tara (Aaron) Isaacs, Jamie (Robbie) Puckett, Alicia Broome, Jeremy (Lora) Broome and Robby (Christina) Broome; nine great-grandchildren, Garrett Puckett, Tirzah Puckett, Stratton Broome, Brylan Yates, Eastton Broome, Oakley Broome, Asher Broome, Dawcee Price and Khoslyn Price; sister, Christine Davis of Smyrna, TN; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Coco.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for their excellent care.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Sunday at Spring Creek Church of God followed by a funeral service at 3 PM. Bishop Bennie Mills, Bishop Raymond Hodge and Bishop Tony Holly will officiate the service.
Burial will be private.
