Frankie worked in several professions, including cosmetology, security guardette, school bus driver, before finding her passion providing care as a CNA for Memorial Home Health and ResCare. She was a faithful member of Lebanon Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and Paul Zimmerman, sisters Elizabeth and Kathryn, brothers Bruce, Max, and Bill. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Debbie Henderson and Tom, Paul Wells and Pam; sisters Beatrice, Betty Jean, and Edith; brothers Pete and Hoyt; grandchildren Jonathan, Laura, Victoria, and Nicholas; several nieces and nephews, and close family friend Glenn Delashmitt.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 13 at 2:00 pm, at Chattanooga Funeral Home East, Pastor Rick Cresswell officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
The family requests memorials be made to her church, Lebanon Valley Baptist Church, or the Autism Society.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home East.
