Big Cat was a loving and giving friend to all. Our Tony loved him dearly. They talked everyday!  Gary and Sandra were so good to our boy and we can never thank them enough. Today was a wonderful tribute to Gary. He was the best. Love you Sandra. ❤️

I have so many fond memories of Gary and Sandra over the years.  It was always so clear to me that they were a happy couple filled with love and admiration for one another.  Big Cat was a treasure and he will be missed by so many.  My prayers are for God to comfort Sweet Sandra's heart.

I will always remember Gary for his really great personality.  He was always glad to see me, even it had only been a couple of months or a couple of years.  It is always great to see someone who is always the same, no matter what's going on in their life. Gary was always upbeat and always made me feel better by just running into him and chatting for a spell.  My condolences to Sandra and his extended family. RIP Gary Willmon, my friend.

There are not enough words to express  what a true and loving friend Gary was to our Tony. They talked everyday and Gary went faithfully thru Tony’s journey until the end. Gary was just a great friend to all.  He called Sandra “Baby Girl”. They had a sweet way with one another. Yes, we are all going to miss him. We were blessed to have had him in our lives!  We love you Sandra and will keep you in our prayers.

Gary and I were not social friends as I did not play low ball but we always talked when our paths crossed.   Three years ago I  was in a wheel chair for four months due to a broken ankle.  One evening Gary saw Mary Ann pushing me in the chair.   The next morning Gary and Sandra showed up at our home with his battery operated wheel chair and said keep it as long as you need it.  A gesture I will never forget. 

 We first met Gary and Sandra at Plaza Beach on St. Pete Beach. Their friendliness helped us enjoy all of the great friends we met there.   Gary always manned the grill at least once for all of the guests.  He will be greatly missed by so many.  He had the most infectious smile; you couldn’t help but love him. May God bless his family and help give Sandra strength and peace.  Ted and Judie Tuttle

I met Gary when we were teenagers before Viet Nam and he was so funny and such a great guy.  I didn't see him for many years and then saw him again with his huge group of friends he came with from Chattanooga to St. Pete.  I went down to see them several times and he was always so charming and funny and loved to grill out for all of his Florida beach buddies.  He was a wonderful husband to Sandra and a great friend.  He will definitely be missed.


Big Cat, what a wonderful and caring person. You and all your low ball friends helped me through the tragic death of my husband, Gary years ago. You all along with Sandra remained friends to my children and I, always enjoyed seeing you two out at local restaurants. That infectious smile will never be forgotten. Rest well my friend ❤️

What a wonderful friend always had open arms home, one of the best friends ever! The wisdom and the hospitality will surly be missed, although his group will roast and toast him forever❤️

Phil and I were so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. We have not seen Gary in many years, but have lots of wonderful memories of Gary and Sandra.  Gary was a wonderful guy.  Prayers and love for you, Sandra. 

As great a guy you would ever want to meet or hangout with. A great husband and friend to many who could dish out some junk and take it as well. Who would of thought on one of the trips to Dothan that after a massive drive down a hill that when I said well BIG CAT it would stick like glue. I will miss you Gary but look forward to seeing you down the road.

I will always remember Big Cat’s infectious smile and gentleness. It was an honor to have met him and his beautiful wife. He will be sadly missed at the Fireside Grill.

I’ll always have fond memories of Big Cat and the encouraging words he offered me as a young teenager to never let anything stop me from dreaming big.
