Mrs. Duke was born and raised in Williamson County, Texas and moved to Chattanooga with her husband after WWII. She was also a longtime member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Duke; parents, Claude and Florence Millegan; brothers, Edward Millegan, Cecil Millegan, Claude Millegan, Jr. and Jodie Millegan; and a sister, Zora Mae Fulkes.
Surviving are her children, Doris Duke (Jerry) Pace, Claude L. (Carley) Duke and Linda Jo Duke (Tom) Phillips; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.
Private graveside services will be on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. David Kemp officiating.
