Mr. Harry William Dawson II

Harry William Dawson, II, age 70 of East Ridge passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at his home. He was born March 24, 1940 in Speedway, Indiana to the late Ralph William Dawson and Dorothy Scoggins Dawson.

Mr. Dawson was a United States Air Force Veteran and a Systems Analyst for TVA. He was a member of the Suburban Club, 2002 E. Main Street and a friend of Bill W.

His brother, Ronnie Dawson and grandparents, Harry W. Dawson and Fritzie Dawson preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Charlotte Dawson; mother-in-law, Novell Bivens of Chattanooga; son, Harry William Dawson, III and his wife Tomy of Pensacola, Florida; daughters, Dava Ford and her husband Daniel; Michelle Rockholt and her husband Rocky all of Chattanooga; Amber Miller and her husband Marcus of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Maggie Dawson, Brittany Rhoades, Haley Rockholt, Betsy Dawson, Maribeth Dawson, Lili Ford, Logan Miller, and Landen Miller.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 8:00 p.m. in the East Chapel with Rev. Jim Davenport officiating. Burial will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
