Mrs. Henderson was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama to Ethel and Harvey Price, Jr. She retired from Memorial Hospital where she worked as a Registered Histologic Technician for 31 years and was an avid gardener, reader and artist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clifford Thomas Henderson, Sr.
Surviving are her son, Clifford Thomas Henderson, Jr.; grandchildren, Polly A. Smith, Heather (Christopher) Mohr and Joshua (Courtney) Henderson; great-grandchildren, Ciara Smith, Annaleigha Smith, Grant Mohr, Ava Mohr and Mattye Henderson; sister, Colleen Diprima; nieces, Helen Virtucio and Arbadella (Emil) Ankermiller; nephews, Howard (Georgeanne) Hughes and Marcus Deprima; great-niece, Yasmin Virtucio; great-nephew, Michael (Karin) Rogers; sister-in-law, Beatrice Wiggly; and many other family members.
There will not be any visitation at the funeral home and a private burial will be held in Ft. Payne, Alabama.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist. 404 South Moore Road.
