Horace N. Eaton, 89, of Chattanooga died Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born January 18, 1925 in Linden, Texas. He was the son of the late Grady H. and Verdye Mae Eaton. He was a loving husband and father. Mr. Eaton was a Marine Corps veteran, serving in World War II. During his time in service, he made six beachhead landings. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and the Second Marine Division Association.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Nadine S. Eaton; children Paul D. Eaton, Mark S. (Michele) Eaton and Gail Ann (Kevin) Bouchard; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Monday, January 12 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from4-6 Sunday evening.
