Iva Dean Williams, 92, passed away Tuesday morning, November 6th, 2012. She was a long time resident of Chattanooga, where she was active in the community and a member of Brainerd Baptist Church. She was currently a resident at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Roswell, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Clifford Lewis Williams Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gentry, her son, Clifford Lewis Williams Jr. (Yesi) and her brother, Willard Camp (Rose). She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jennifer Gentry, Diana Stiefel (Todd), Gretchen Ball (Ted), Kristin Mittlemark (Marc), Clifford Lewis Williams III (Lindsay) and four great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be held Thursday, November 8th, from 4 pm-8 pm at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-East Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Friday, November 9th at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
