A former, long-term resident of Chattanooga, graduating from Central High School, Mr. Haddock was also a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in industrial engineering and was employed by Bridgestone Metalpha in Clarksville.
He is preceded in death by his father David Haddock, Sr. of Chattanooga, TN. He is survived by his mother, Mary Haddock of Chattanooga; his loving wife of 38 years, Phyllis Haddock; daughter, Alicia Dawn Siders; one grandson, Jess Siders all of Clarksville, TN; two brothers David Haddock, Jr. of Brentwood, TN and Michael Haddock of Harrison, TN; one niece, four nephews, three grand nieces & two grand nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Lakewood Memory Gardens South, Rossville, GA with the Rev. Larry Dial officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, November 16 from 12:30 to 1:30 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
