

He was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Crittenden was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Martin Crittenden; parents, Henry Clay Crittenden and Evelyn Hay Crittenden of Chattanooga; maternal grandparents, James B. Hay and Lena Dearing Hay of Cleveland.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Terrell Crittenden and his daughter, Charmaine Jean
Crittenden of East Ridge; his sister Jean Crittenden Pace and husband Ed Pace of Rogersville; and his nieces, nephews, and brother in-law Ronald H. Martin of Cedar Bluff, Alabama
Terry was born November 25th, 1939 in Cleveland Tennessee. Graduated from Central High School in Chattanooga, attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, where he was a founding members of the R.O. T.C group "The Rebel Rifles". Terry also served his country with honorable discharges from the ARMY, NAVY, and AIR FORCE.
Terry retired from TVA as Chief of Security in 1985, then went on to start his own company, James T. Crittenden Trucking.
In his later years, Terry enjoyed camping with all of his friends at Chester Frost State Park.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 8, from 4 to 8 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel.
Graveside services will be on Monday, July 9th at 1:30 PM in The Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
