James G. Harper Sr., 83, of East Ridge, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. James was born May 31, 1931 in Copperhill, Tennessee. He graduated from City High School. James was employed with the United States Postal Service and retired from the East Lake Station. He enjoyed his church, sports, and bargain hunting at yard sales and flea markets, in addition to spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 am, Monday, December 15, 2014 in the East Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Perry officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
