Mr. Neely was a graduate of City High School and was retired from the City of Chattanooga where he was very dedicated to his job of 35 years. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Belinda Neely; two sons, Todd Neely and Scott (Denise) Neely; daughter, Stacie (David) Combs; grandchildren, Tyler Neely, Brian (Heather) Neely, Bailey Combs, Payton Downs, Eli Combs, Erica Pittman and Jessica Judkins; great-grandchildren, Noah Neely and Haley Neely.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Steve Fletcher officiating. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Jason and Jennifer Daverson.
