James Kelly White Jr.

Mr. White was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Maxine and James K. White, Sr. He was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Grace Christian Church. James was an outstanding junior golfer in Chattanooga and was a former professional golfer and teacher.

He served in the U. S. Army in South Korea from 1967 – 1971 and as a US Government Intelligence Official. He was an Insurance Broker and ran his own successful business in Chattanooga. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather, knowledgeable in the Bible, and was a faithful Christian.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Ann White; and his parents.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Brenda White; children, Tracy (Greg) Wright, James K. (Bree) White III and Elizabeth (Joshua) Wickline; 7 grandchildren; brother, Larry White; and sister, Cheryl W. (Marion) Robinson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society and Stevies Haven for animals .
