

Jennifer was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. She was a graduate of Girls Preparatory School and attended Vanderbilt and the University of Colorado at Boulder before receiving her Nursing degree from UTC. Jennifer’s early working years were spent in the nursing field. She was then employed by CIGNA and became a Nurse Case Manager Specialist.
Jennifer was a member of First-Centenary United Methodist Church. Recently, she and many of her friends attended the contemporary services at The Net Church at the Rave.
Jennifer loved all of God’s creations, was a warm and compassionate friend, and, above all, was a loving mother. She looked forward to spending time with her twin nieces, listening to music and having fun times with her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Lee Germann.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, John and Carol Germann; son, Ethan Rutter; sister, Jill (Frank) Generazio; nephew, Nick Generazio; nieces, Mia and Olivia Generazio; and her grandmother, Betty Tinker. She also leaves behind her aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless loving friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the funeral home.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at First-Centenary United Methodist Church(Oak Street Center) on Sunday, February 20, 2011 with Rev. Brian Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church before the service. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
