Mrs. Jennifer Michelle Rains

Jennifer Michelle Rains, age 37 of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in a local hospital after a 3 ½ year battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She was born September 8, 1976 in Chattanooga.

Jennifer was a 1994 graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was employed as a Portfolio Administrator for Patton & Patten, Inc. for 15 years.

Jennifer was an avid Softball Mom who lived for her children.

Survivors include her husband, Jason; children, Caitlin, Zoe, Emily, Savannah, and Gabriel all of Chattanooga; parents, Mike & Marcia Fryar of Chattanooga; sisters, Alyssa Allison of Chattanooga; and Kari Pace of Georgia; grandparents, Mary Quick; Herbert Ford; Jack & Ellen Fryar all of Chattanooga; and Jean & Frank Peterson, Sr. of Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Lookout Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Massengill officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the East Chapel.
