John William Chamberlin, 60, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully, July 21, 2015. Mr. Chamberlin graduated from East Ridge High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was an avid hunter and trapper; he loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. He was a trapper for the City of Chattanooga.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Cynthia Chamberlin; sons Clyde (Dana) Worley and Tim (Jennifer) Worley; grandchildren, Todd, Shelby, Rachel, and Josie; mother-in-law, Jean Dickson, sisters-in-law, Becky Shank, Elaine (John) Blake; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Andre Harriman, Larry Steele, and Fred Vail. He also had a close relationship with the guys he cared for for thirty-four years, Mark Curtis, James Gauntt, Mike Sterchi, and the late Ray Steed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25 at 12:00 noon in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Fred Vail and Andre Harriman officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 Friday evening.
