She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bonard Veal and Mayola Jane Chadwick Veal; a brother, Eddie Veal and a grandson Anthony Craig Burns, II.
Survivors include her son, Anthony (Iva) Burns; daughter, Amanda (Dani) Brady; four grandchildren, Ashley, Jacqueline, Michelle and Amy and eight great-grandchildren.
The family is planning a celebration of life service at a later date.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
