Joyce Wilkes Hall, 84, of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025. She was born on August 31, 1941, in Chattanooga to Theodore R. Wilkes and Clura Anderson Wilkes. She graduated from Central High School. She was a member of Stanley Heights Baptist Church. Previously, she was a long-time member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church at Woodmore. Joyce worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Clura Wilkes; and Son, Stephen
Hall.
Survivors include her son, Chris (Stephanie) Hall; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin (Heather), Maggie, Theo, Jacob, and Stephen Hall; brother, Ted (Lynn) Wilkes, Jr.; and former daughter-in-law, Toby.
The funeral will be held at 2PM Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
