She was born on January 8, 1929, at Fyffe Alabama. She moved to Chattanooga, TN during her early teen years. She was a long-time member of Highland Park Baptist Church. In 1952 she and her husband started a successful real estate business and supported him as he served the Lord. After 25 years she retired from S-C-T Credit Union in Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Queen; Father, Nolen Garl Carter and Mother, Alma Brock Carter; her sister Montez Carter Clay and brother N. G. Carter.
She is survived by her daughters; Valerie Q. Goodwin, Lenita Q. Wilson (Wayne); grandchildren Varissia Chapman (Richard), Tiffany Goodwin, Neil Wilson and Rachel Wilson and great-grandchildren Carter Chapman and Tressley Chapman and many nieces and nephews
A Graveside service was held November 1 at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park and attended by close family.
