Mrs. Teinert was born in Bonham, Texas to William and Lida Mae Cotham. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She and her husband lived in Independence, Missouri before moving to Chattanooga in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; and 4 sisters.
Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Martin Teinert; children, Linda Hammer, Roger (Jan) Teinert and Debe (Bill) Hodges; grandchildren, Sidney, Paige, Tina, Ashley and Patrick; great-grandsons, Daniel, Corey, Jeffrey and Jordyn; great-great-grandson, Brody; and 5 sisters.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Gilbert Pingel officiating.
Burial services will be private.
