Mrs. Judith M Dodd

She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and graduated from Central High School. Judy attended Highland Park Baptist Church for 70 years and retired from Provident Insurance Company.

She was married to Roy Dodd for 54 years. They enjoyed going to car shows and spending time in Maggie Valley sitting on the porch watching the creek flow, eating ice cream and listening to nature. She loved sweets and BBQ Ribs. In her younger days, Judy enjoyed cooking for friends and family at Christmas.

The family would like to thank Hearth Hospice Care and longtime family friend, Marilyn Ford for their extraordinary care of Judy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Ward Tittsworth; sister, Peggy (Stan) Bently and James (Frances) Dodd.

She is survived by her husband Roy Dodd of Chattanooga and Sylvia (Arnold) Eaves of Atlanta, GA.

Services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Mark Smith and the Rev. Scott McCurdy officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Virgil Kimbrough, Ramsey Kimbrough, Derek Billingsley, Nicholas Billingsley, Doug McClendon, Lewis Crumbley and Johnny Cannon.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday and from 10 - 11:30 Thursday at the funeral home.
