June was born in Chattanooga to the late Floyd and Edna McPhetridge. She was a member of Chattanooga Church and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ann Whaley; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are daughters, Marilyn Graham and Marcy Dickerson; son, Walter Whaley, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Joel Whaley; sisters, Shirley (Jose) Holdaway and Barbara Wooten; brother, Richard McPhetridge; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Morty Lloyd officiating.
A private burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
