My sister was loving mother who will by missed by all who knew her and loved her .
My favorite memories involve picnics after Church .
Soddy Creek , Daddy and I fishing and Kathryn playing with her dolls and mother knitting .
All that delicious food .
I am happy to know that she is in heaven and no longer in the terrible pain that she suffered .

I grew up on Tennessee Avenue across the street and down a bit from Kathryn and her family. All the neighborhood kids used to ride our bikes and also skate in the alley behind my house. Those were the days when you needed a skate key. Your grandmother, Mrs. Peterson, and my mother were great friends although they only referred to each other as "Miss Dunn" and "Miss Peterson".  I remember that Mrs. Peterson had the brightest smile with deep dimples. I have many happy memories of summers spent playing in the neighborhood with your mother. When I go back home to the house in St. Elmo, I often think of the good neighbors we had in those days:The Bolings, the Oplingers, the Sears, the Webbs, etc. but the house on the hill with the wide welcoming front porch and overlooking the neighborhood will forever be to me the "Peterson house". I am so sorry for your loss. Kathryn was a wonderful person.

My sister was a great lady , she is survived by a lovely family who will miss her  smile and loving nature . She is at peace and pain free and visiting with her loved ones in heaven .I cannot help but remember the fun times we had , as youths , on Sunday afternoon at Soddy Creek , she played with her dolls while Daddy and I fished . Always a great picnic in the afternoon , what fun .

Our group of card players decided to rent a cabin in the Georgia mountains to play cards all weekend. I was her driver up and back, anyway, she talked non stop the ride up and back and every minute in between at the cabin. I didn't bunk with her but I bet you anything she even talked in her sleep! My memory is of a happy and gregarious woman . . . even through the unbearable pain of RA.

She sure did love her some Diet Coke! 😁

Kathryn was a sweet lady. I got to know her through my dad, Shelby, when she lived in st. Elmo. The last time I seen her was at my dads funeral. She was her normal, happy self. I loved her smile. Prayers for the family.

So sorry about your loss....Kathryn was one of my dearest friends at Lookout Junior High School....we had some great times together..I moved away from Chattanooga many, many years ago but thought of her often....I will keep you  in my thoughts and prayers..

For nearly 20 yrs I was blessed to cal Kathryn my friend. She will be dearly missed. Her smile lit up a room and her laughter was always contagious.
