Leo Anderson knew my daddy, J.B. Gaither, who preached in Gainesboro, TN in the 1930's. I talked to Leo on the phone in the summer of 2007 as I was writing a book about my daddy's life. I had met his sisters, Marie and Helen in Gainesboro earlier that summer. Helen worships where my sister lives in Dickson, TN. On behalf of the Gaither family, I would like to extend my sympathy to the family. It is never easy to give up one we love.
(Also, Alan Pitchford, who is the youth minister at East Ridge, is my son.)
In His Service, Sandra (Gaither) Pitchford, Mountain Home, ARK
