Mrs. Owens was born in Chattanooga to Robert and Evelyn Clark Hickman. Linda was a 1966 graduate of East Ridge High School. She was of the Baptist faith. Linda was a member of the Women Auxiliary American Legion Post # 40 in Ringgold, GA.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, David Owens; two daughters, Lisa Lee Shannon and husband Kirk and Stacy Lynn Owens; two grandsons, Connor and Noah Shannon; sister, Beverly Hickman; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm on Tuesday and 12 (noon) to 1 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Fate Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
