Linda Jean Rollins

Linda Jean Standifer Rollins, 80, of Chattanooga, TN went home to see her Savior Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with her family by her side. Linda was born on July 7, 1944, to the late Edgar Lee Standifer and Evelyn Louise Thompson Standifer. She was a graduate of Central High School. Linda was a stay-at-home mother and wife for most of her adult life, but she did follow her kids to school having served as a cafeteria worker while they were in school at Lookout Valley Middle and High School.

She had a servant’s heart and she and her husband, Norman were members of Lookout Valley Baptist for many years. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed by those that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Norman N. Rollins, Jr., and her parents.

Left behind to cherish Linda’s memory are her children and their spouses, Michelle Lewis (Danny) and Jeff Rollins (Shirley), her grandchildren, Seth Lewis (Courtney) and Jacob Lewis , her great-grandchildren, Levi and Micah Lewis, her brothers and their spouses, Bob Standifer (Linda), Richard Standifer (Alice), and Jim Standifer (Ann), a brother-in-law, Roger Rollins (Tricia), several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 5th at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with her son-in-law, Danny Lewis officiating. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Norman in the Lakewood Memory Gardens West in Tiftonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening, March 4th from 5-8 PM and Wednesday prior to the service.
