Lois Frances Kennedy Visage, born October 9, 1933, met her heavenly Savior on June 29, 2026 at the age of 92. Known to so many as “Frankie.” For the last several decades, our Mother very often talked about the peace she had “deep in her soul” and she finally found that eternal peace and reunited with her pride and joy, her son, Mark Visage.
Mother’s world had become quite small in the last years and her sole focus was her family, which meant everything to her. She was a Mother to Pam Visage Slaten (Ed) and Candace Visage Bell (Mike). Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Josh Visage (Lori Beth), Hannah Slaten Soloff (Matt), and Heath Slaten (Ashley). And her three great grandchildren Jack Soloff, Riley Visage and Kennedy Soloff.
As an avid Atlanta Braves fan, she still watched every game and planned her days and nights around their game time. Go Braves!
Mother’s sweetest and best memories are those of her childhood and spending time with her grandmother that she adored, Candace Culpepper, whose service to the Lord and others was a wonderful example of a Christian mother.
As a 1951 graduate of Central High School, she thoroughly enjoyed her high school years and later working as a young model for Miller Bros. Department Store.
In lieu of flowers or memorial donations and to honor our Mother, she would want everyone that knew her to come to know her Savior and have the same peace that carried her for so many years, and especially through the valleys. While we will sorely miss her daily presence, we have a peace that transcends all understanding because of Mother’s salvation and eternal life.
The Visage family sends such grateful appreciation to the entire team at Amedisys Hospice – they are angels on earth.
At Mother’s request, there will be a private graveside service. Arrangements made bythe East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
