She was a member of Scott Memorial Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Everette O. May, Jr.; two sons, Greg (Katy Berotti) May and Jeff (Kaye) May; three grandchildren, Jason May, Gareth May and Blythe May; siblings, Joe Bill Harris, Allene Ramsey, Holiway Harris, Arnold Harris and Manker Harris; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home 404 South Moore Road, Chattanooga, TN with the Rev. Tim Sharp, the Rev. Les Fauntleroy and the Rev. John Pentz officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
