
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Oren Hon and Mary Elizabeth Beck Hon, her first husband, William E. Snodgrass, her second husband, David Ross of Toronto, Canada, brothers Charles Oren Hon, Jr., Dan Hon and sisters Elizabeth Hon Poynton and Eleanor Hon.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Missie (Tom) Seeger of Elsberry, Missouri, and her sons Edward (Linda) Snodgrass of Chattanooga and John (Lisa) Snodgrass of Atlanta, Georgia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Born on “Hon Hill” in Chattanooga in 1921, Margaret lived there until moving to Toronto after her marriage to David Ross. Margaret graduated from The University of Chattanooga and was a member of First-Centenary United Methodist Church and the Riverview Garden Club.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 3 at First-Centenary United Methodist Church at 12:30 p.m. with the Reverend David Harr and the Reverend Edward Snodgrass officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the church before the service.
