Margaret Elizabeth Wilson, 95, of Chattanooga passed away on November 23, 2020. She was of the Baptist faith and was a dedicated member for over 33 years at Edgewood Baptist Church. Margaret was artistically gifted as she would paint delicate porcelain china. She also enjoyed playing the piano which she did well into her 90’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Andrew Franklin Wilson, Sr., her parents, E.G. and Leland Epperson, 3 brothers and a sister.
Left behind to cherish Margaret’s memory are her children, Andrew Franklin Wilson, Jr., and his wife, Lori, and Lela Jean Harris and her husband, Robert, granddaughters, Mary Ann (Mike) Robinson, Linda G. (Richard) Walters, grandsons, Frankie Caruthers and Billy R. (Mandy) Harris, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson, Odin.
A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held graveside with Pastor Dale Kidd officiating in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday November 30, 2020 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday November 29, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by the CDC and the Hamilton County Health Department be adhered to. This includes “social distancing” and wearing masks at all times while on the premises.
