Marian Elder Miller, 92, of East Ridge, formerly of Mobile, Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior, May 26, 2015. She was born May 7, 1923 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late D.S. and Frances Elder. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband H. Eugene Miller; sisters, Kay and Helen; and a brother Vernon. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Becky (Tommy) Richerson of Mobile, Alabama, Gloria (Robert) McDade of East Ridge, and Sherri (Joseph) Kennedy of Mobile, Alabama; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; sister, Pat Gast of Mobile, Alabama; brother; Victor Elder of Coral Gables, Florida; a wonderful friend and caregiver, Sharon Thompson, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend R.L. Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-9 Friday evening and from 1-2 Saturday.
