Marie was a longtime member of Brainerd Church of Christ and was retired from J. C. Penney.
She was prececed in death by her husband, Riley H. Tatum and her parents, Arlin and Delia Copeland Goins; five brothers, J. C., Ivan, Carlos, Franklin and R.D.
Survivors include her three sons, Alan Tatum; John Tatum and Dwayne (Julie) Tatum; five grandchildren, Todd, Sam, Elizabeth, Jacob and Grace; brother, James E. Goins.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday and from 10 – 11 AM Monday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
