Katherine Frost Preston, 93, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. She was an active member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and a member of the Adult 1 Sunday School Class for many years where her husband, C. Henry Preston, was the Sunday School Teacher. She was retired as the bookkeeper for Dr. DeWitt James.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Rev. C. Henry Preston; two sons, Charles Preston and Tommy Preston of Chattanooga; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Mackintosh of Dandridge, TN; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Ridgedale Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
