Melba Maudine Webb, 76, of Chattanooga, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. She was a U.S. Navy Reserve Veteran, was retired from Alco Chemical and was a member of the Avondale Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Herman James Webb, Sr. and Edith Corine Land Webb. She is survived by her siblings, Barbara Crawford, Cleveland, TN, Jerry Webb, Anchorage, AK, Herman James Webb, Jr., Hixson, TN, Virginia Kendall, Chattanooga, William Webb, Trenton, GA, Steven Webb, Cleveland, TN and Sudie Webb, Harrison, TN along with several loving nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S. Moore Road.
