

Mrs. Haskins was born and raised in Gloucester, England. She immigrated to the U. S. in 1952 and has been a longtime, dedicated member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she served on the cleaning crew for many years. Her hobbies included gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Dennis Button Haskins, III; her parents, Herbert and Rose Taylor.; and brother, Iver Taylor.
Survivors include her sons, Rodney Bowman, Charlie (Marilyn) Bowman and Tim Bowman; grandchildren, Jeffrey Bowman, Kristie Mantooth, Heather Long (Alex) Disbrow, Jonathan Long, Ginger Parker, Dustin McDaniel and Tammy Bowman; great-grandchildren, Caelynn, Macy, Lenox, Bowdie, Hunter, Mckinlee and Hayden; sister, Dawn (Chris) Hawkins of Gloucester, England; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her stepson, Dennis Button Haskins IV and grandchildren, Julie and Alex.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2013 and Friday from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
A Funeral Mass will be at 2 PM Friday, August 30, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Jim Vick officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
