Paul C. Kincer, 86, of Chattanooga passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 of natural causes. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church (formerly Avondale Baptist Church). Mr. Kincer was a 1953 graduate of Central High School. He retired from Chattanooga Gas Company after 38 years of service and was a 60 year member and past Worshipful Master of Fidelity Lodge # 558 F&AM. He had also volunteered at Orange Grove Center for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertie Ann McKinney Kincer; father, Clarence Kincer; brother, Jack H. Kincer; sister, Nola Lee Lawson and a cousin, Ronnie Kincer.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Joy Chambers Kincer; Daughter, Suzanne Weaver; son Roger (Paige) Kincer; grandsons, Philip (Tori) Kincer and Paul Michael Kincer; brother William “Bill” Kincer, Roy (Judy) Kincer and Richard (Judy) Kincer; sister-in-law, Laura Kincer; Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN with the Rev. Todd McElyea officiating. Burial will be at 2 PM Tuesday in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Philip Kincer, Paul Kincer, Gary Hicks, Mike Sutton, Chip (Jeffrey) Kincer and Keith Kincer serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 5-7 PM Monday, December 23 and 11AM to 1 PM Tuesday, December 24, 2019.
