Randy was born on October 3rd, 1953, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN to his parents William Milligan Boleman and Jacqueline (Benton) Boleman. He was an avid lover of cars and enjoyed putting model car kits together as a boy. He also enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races.
Randy also had a love for films and movies in which he was able to turn into a career in his adult years. He started his employment career as an usher at the downtown Chattanooga Martin Theatre, then later managed the 23rd Street drive-in theater. He was also the manager of the East Ridge Six movie complex. He advanced in the theater industry throughout his career, which led him and his family to various cities, including Montgomery, AL, Pittsburgh, PA, and finally Columbus, GA where he was an executive with Carmike Cinemas. Randy returned to his hometown of Chattanooga, TN at the end of his career in the theater industry where he spent the rest of his days with his loving wife, Kandy.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents William and Jacqueline Boleman and his beloved wife, Kandy Renee Boleman.
He is survived by his sons Robby (Chasity) Boleman, Joe (English) Boleman, and Cain (Stephanie) Collison, grandchildren Bennett Boleman, Lux Collison, and Emma Collison, sister Tammy (Stephen) Webb, and two nephews, Jordan Vazquez and William Webb.
A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday September 12, 2026, at 12:00 pm with the Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am.
