Mr. Randy Lee was a friend,
a close colleague, and a
trusted mentor to all of us
at Shoals Medical Laboratory,
in Florence Alabama,
for many years.
Randy, we miss you,
the entire 'crew'.
Dr. Palakshappa is
there. Dr. Braund is
for sure there in spirit
and probably in person,
if at all feasible.
To David, Dalen,
and your families,
please remember the
words of an old Baptist
hymn that I love so well
"God Be With You Till We
and we shall.

I worked with Randy for over 6 years at Comprehensive. My desk was in front of his office. We became very close buddies. He was always good to me and I enjoyed conversation with him. He was a good man with a huge heart. I will miss him very much and he will always hold a special place in my heart forever. Now you are with Charlotte, Randy. I know you are happy now.

From Randy I learned much more than what I had first anticipated when he was introduced as my lab director at Comprehensive Medical. Our conversations generally began with discussion of lab concerns...but (and I say this with a smile on my face) I always found myself with elbows propped on the table, face in hands, listening to Randy give me advice that he could not possibly have known I needed! He was so full of 'life stories' which supported whatever advice he was sharing..and always, without fail, those stories involved his Charlotte...I am so very thankful for who Randy was in my life.
